C H Faul and Company Limited was formed in Invercargill in 1949 by Clive Faul. He started work as a heating engineer in Dunedin and was involved in landmark buildings such as Olveston and many schools and hospitals. Clive's sons, Jack and Murray Faul, continued the business followed by Jack’s sons, John and Peter. Peter went on to take over Advantage Plumbing and Drainage Ltd in Queenstown and Christchurch and John currently is managing director of C H Faul and Company Limited in Invercargill.

John took over management of the business in 1987 and is a qualified Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineer. He is a member of IRHACE and Associate of CIBSE (UK) and an Advisory Group Member of Wood Energy South.

Notable projects completed during his tenure are; Southland Museum and Art Gallery, Stadium Southland, Southland Aquatic Centre – original project and conversion to Biomass heating, Environment Southland heat recovery ventilation, air conditioning and Photovoltaic Power, School Biomass Boiler conversions across multiple schools in Otago and Southland, Wanaka Primary School VRV Air conditioning and Heat Recovery Ventilation, Sir Michael Hill’s house Queenstown, The Hills Golf Course Clubhouse, and design and build for Air Conditioning for South Link Medical Centres South Island-wide.

Marlon Fabia BScENG

Design Engineer and Principal Estimator

Marlon gained his Engineering degree in the Philippines before moving to New Zealand in 2009 to work at C H Faul and Company. He specialises in a wide cross-section of Mechanical Services design fields and CAD drafting. He has gained extensive experience in the design of Biomass Boiler systems through his time working at C H Faul and Company and has become an expert in the field.

Ilkwon Kim BEng

Design Engineer

Ilkwon came to work at C H Faul and Company in 2017 after completing a degree in Business and Management at SIT. He is an experienced Mechanical design engineer and has worked across a range of projects from Biomass Boiler installations to complex Air Conditioning and Climate Control systems. 

Brian Casey BSc

Project Manager and Principal Health and Safety Officer

Brian has project managed large contracts in Otago and Southland for C H Faul and Company. He is experienced in Health and Safety and responsible for managing the C H Faul and Company workforce on a day-to-day basis.
